South Korean Footballers Sister-In-Law Releases His Explicit Videos Pretending To Be Ex-Girlfriend, Jailed

The sister-in-law of South Korean worldwide Hwang Ui-jo was sentenced to 3 years in jail Thursday for posting non-public specific movies of the footballer on-line and attempting to blackmail him. The defendant, who has not been named, was accused of sharing the movies on social media whereas pretending to be an ex-girlfriend accusing him of infidelity. The launch of the movies sparked a separate police investigation into the Nottingham Forest striker over whether or not the sexual encounters had been filmed illegally with out consent. Hwang has denied the allegations and prosecutors have but to clear or formally cost him.

The sister-in-law posted the movies “knowing it would be disseminated indiscriminately”, the Seoul Central District Court stated in a verdict, Yonhap information company reported.

“The content has been widely distributed in and out of South Korea… the nature of her crime is very serious,” the court docket stated.

The three-year sentence was a 12 months lower than prosecutors had demanded.

The defendant’s acknowledgement of the crime and Hwang’s plea for leniency had been considered, the court docket stated.

“I have caused great harm to the victims and I sincerely regret what I have done,” the defendant stated in her closing testimony.

The 31-year-old Hwang, who’s on mortgage from Forest at Turkish membership Alanyaspor, scored in a World Cup qualifier in opposition to Singapore in November.

But the Korea Football Association have since suspended him from the nationwide squad pending the result of the investigation into the alleged unlawful filming.

The suspension stored him out of the Asian Cup in Qatar.

Hwang has scored 19 objectives in 62 appearances for South Korea.
