Ryan Reynolds shared a snap of himself having a COVID-19 nose swab test as production resumed on his film Red Notice.

Work on the Netflix heist movie starring Reynolds, Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson was postponed in March to allow cast and crew members to put their families first during the coronavirus crisis.

On Saturday, the Deadpool actor tweeted he has returned to production and shared photos of him, taken by his actress wife Blake Lively, undergoing the coronavirus nose swab test.

“The Covid Test is quick and easy. The doctor places the swab up your nose, just deep enough to tickle your childhood memories and then it’s over,” he wrote in the caption. “No matter what you say to him, he won’t buy you dinner first.”

Reynolds’ co-star Gadot also shared a similar social media post, confirming that Red Notice production is up and running once again, last Wednesday – confirming that she too was “getting ready to head back to the Red Notice set.”

“Prep looks a little different now #staysafe,” she wrote, alongside a picture of herself having her nose swabbed.

Red Notice was one of a number of Netflix productions paused amid the global uncertainty, which prompted studio officials industry-wide to shut down shoots.

Justin and Hailey Bieber marked their second wedding anniversary on Sunday by heading out on a romantic picnic.

The couple tied the knot in September 2018 in a courthouse in New York, before exchanging vows in front of friends and family a year later in South Carolina.

And to celebrate their official second anniversary, Justin and Hailey opted for a low-key outing together – taking their favourite foods on a picnic.

Hailey shared a picture of the occasion on her Instagram page, in a snap of herself laying on a picnic blanket while showing off her toned stomach in a cropped T-shirt and high waisted jeans.

“Picnic lady,” she captioned the image.

Justin didn’t share any pictures from the picnic on his Instagram page, but he did share a sweet video of his wife singing Jhene Aiko’s Never Call Me, writing alongside it: “2 years today @haileybieber .. xoxo.”

He also shared images of himself and Hailey – wearing the same T-shirt as she was at the picnic – pulling funny faces at the camera, writing: “Sunday funday.”

Sharon Stone is adamant that looks do matter.

The actress, who stars in the new Netflix drama Ratched, a prequel to the classic 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, tells Britain’s Daily Telegraph, “You don’t even realize how much they matter until they start to go.”

It’s a “big, fat stupid lie if anyone says that they don’t,” the star says, insisting she has a workout routine consisting of doing “30 squats a day, and lift(ing) these seven-pound lead balls when I’m watching TV,” to stay in shape.

Stone goes on to reflect on allegations she’s “difficult” or “hard to work with,” and insists she’s since mellowed herself out and now lets some smaller annoyances slide – and she even had kind words for U.S. President Donald Trump.

“Actually, I have empathy for him,” she explains. “I think he’s had some childhood trauma. I look at this man and it feels to me like whatever his traumas are, he is torturing himself and hurting himself.

“And it’s affecting so many people that are coming out in support (of him), with Nazi masks and all that stuff,” continues Stone. “Those are also people who have a heartbreaking level of internal rage, and that rage comes from feeling so insecure and so hurt.”

Late Glee star Naya Rivera’s four-year-old son Josey has shared heartbreaking new details of how his mother drowned.

The former Glee star disappeared on July 8 after taking her son Josey on a boat ride at California’s Lake Piru. Her body was recovered days later following an extensive police search and she was laid to rest in a private service at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Los Angeles on July 24.

In new police papers, obtained by People, further details of the star’s tragic demise have been shared, with Josey telling investigators that they counted “1, 2,3” together before happily jumping off their little boat.

He goes on to tell authorities that the mom-of-one had laboured to make sure her child was safely back on the boat before she succumbed, with the documents detailing: “She helped him onto the boat and he then heard (Naya) yell “help’ and she put her arm in the air.

“She then disappeared into the water,” the report states, according to People.

The autopsy, which officially rules Naya’s death an accidental drowning, noted that Rivera was healthy but had a history of vertigo “that would get worse when she was in the water.”

Her vertigo was intense enough that she had been treated for it at Cedars Sinai hospital, according to the report.

Josey, whose father is Naya’s ex-husband, actor Ryan Dorsey, was found asleep on the boat the afternoon of the incident, wearing a life jacket and wrapped in a towel.

The lake closed briefly after the tragedy before reopening to the public in August.

Rapper 50 Cent handed out over $30,000 in tips to lucky Burger King employees in New York City.

Toots and the Maytals star Toots Hibbert has died aged 77.

The reggae icon’s passing was confirmed by his family in a statement on the band’s social media pages, reading: “It is with the heaviest of hearts to announce that Frederick Nathaniel “Toots’ Hibbert passed away peacefully tonight, surrounded by his family at the University Hospital of the West Indies in Kingston, Jamaica.

“The family and management would like to thank the medical teams and professionals for their care and diligence, and ask that you respect their privacy during their time of grief,” they added.

“Mr. Hibbert is survived by his wife of 39 years, Mrs. D, and his seven of eight children.”

Hibbert was admitted to the private hospital in St. Andrew, Jamaica, late August (20) after complaining of breathing difficulties and, according to reports, had been in “stable condition” and “showing signs of improvement by the hour”. He had been placed in a medically-induced coma during his hospitalization.

A cause of death has yet to be confirmed, though he had been recently tested for Covid-19.

While dismissing premature reports of his death, Jamaica’s Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sports Olivia Grange this week (begs07Sep20) made an urgent appeal for members of the public to donate blood.

Just a week before Toots’ hospitalization, Toots and The Maytals released their first album of original material in a decade in the form of Got To Be Tough.

Mixed martial arts legend Conor McGregor has been released from police custody in Corsica following an arrest for alleged attempted sexual assault and indecent exposure.

Prosecutors have revealed a complaint was filed against the Irish fighter on Thursday, but they did not expand on the details.

The 32 year old has denied the charges against him, via a spokesman, who has confirmed Conor was interviewed by police and released.

The fighter’s manager, Audie Attar, has released a statement to the New York Post, which reads: “I am irate and putting out a warning loud and clear: Conor McGregor is not and will not be a target for those seeking to score a headline or a payday.”

McGregor returned to the MMA world earlier this year after completing court-ordered community service for hurling a chair at a bus carrying rival fighters leaving Brooklyn’s Barclays Center in 2018.

Reports suggest Conor is vacationing on Corsica with his fiancee and their two children.

The Kardashians are reportedly planning to continue to dominate screens after their hit family reality series ends, as they plan to launch their own media company.

According to the New York Post’s gossip column Page Six, the end of Keeping Up with the Kardashians after 20 seasons means the stars, including self-proclaimed ‘momager’ Kris Jenner and siblings Kim, Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, could land a big streaming deal within a year.

“There’s more money in streaming,” said a source, hinting they have their eyes on either Netflix, Apple or Amazon. “And it’s global.”

In addition to shopping past seasons of the show, an insider close to the family also said they’re even mulling starting “their own media company” in the near future.

They explained the family is interested in shifting away from their reality roots to work on a show similar to Shark Tank – which gives budding entrepreneurs a shot at making their dreams come true by pitching to successful business people.

For now, however, the family, also including Jenner siblings Kendall and Kylie, are said to be ready to take a break from the cameras.

“They’re open to all opportunities,” the source added. “But they are taking some time off.”

Kim first broke the news on Instagram on Tuesday, saying that the family is “beyond grateful to all of you who’ve watched us for all of these years – through the good times, the bad times, the happiness, the tears, and the many relationships and children.”

Actor Chuck Norris has launched legal action against the bosses behind an erectile disfunction medication for using his image to promote the drug.

The Walker, Texas Ranger star has hit executives at Bio-Molecular Solutions and Biogenetics with a lawsuit claiming they have damaged his reputation by linking him to the Viagra-like pills, Provitra, without permission.

In documents obtained by TMZ, it appears Norris’ wife Gena is also suing after coming across the ad online in June, alongside a fake news article that alleged Norris had revealed all about the erectile dysfunction medication on U.S. self-help guru Dr. Phil McGraw’s popular daytime show.”

Norris maintains neither he nor Gena have ever authorized bosses at the brand to use him as a promotional tool.

The couple is seeking an undisclosed sum for damages from the company.

Former U.S. late night host Jay Leno has been tapped to present Fox’s forthcoming reboot of popular game show You Bet Your Life.

The comedian will revive the series – which originally began on radio in 1947 before hitting TV screens from 1950 to 1961 – with Fox Television Stations beginning in autumn, 2021.

According to editors at Fox News, the reboot will preserve the interviews and banter with contestants that the original became so well known for, as players take a shot at winning prize money by answering a set of questions from pre-determined categories.

“I’m thrilled to be hosting the latest version of You Bet Your Life. One of my favorite things to do is talk to regular people and draw humour out of them,” says Leno.

“This is a comedy show wrapped in a game show that allows me to do just that.”

Station group CEO Jack Abernethy adds: “We need a familiar face to make us laugh and we are incredibly proud and excited to reinvent this renowned franchise with the enormously talented Jay.

“Jay Leno’s sense of humor is perfect for this legacy brand and I couldn’t be more excited to be partnered with him and Tom Werner to bring this iconic game that is full of laughs, back to television.”

You Bet Your Life was hosted by Groucho Marx of the Marx Brothers during its original run.
