Another instrument onboard the Pragyan rover has detected Sulphur on the Lunar floor of the Moon’s south pole. The Alpha Particle X-Ray Spectroscope (APXS) has detected S, in addition to different minor components. ISRO launched a video displaying an automatic hinge mechanism rotating the 18 cm tall APXS, aligning the detector head to be 5 cm in proximity to the Lunar floor.
