The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been actively probing the drugs angle with regards to the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Sushant’s former manager Shruti Modi and talent manager Jaya Saha had been summoned by the NCB today, however they have been sent back, bringing a break to the investigation. NCB’s deputy director KPS Malhotra confirmed that one member of the SIT probing the case tested positive post which Shruti and Jaya were sent back.

“One of the team member of SIT has been tested positive for corona. We just received the antigen test report. In view of that other members will be tested and due protocol laid down will be followed. Accordingly, we have sent back Shruti Modi who had joined investigation today morning,” KPS Malhotra shared in a statement. Shruti and Jaya will not be interrogated for now, bringing a halt to the drugs angle that is being probed in Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case.

The Narcotics Control Bureau has till now arrested Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Sushant’s house manager Samuel Miranda and staff Dipesh Sawant. Sushant and Rhea are expected to file for a bail application today.
