Sushant Singh Rajput’s case is nearing three months into its investigation and the latest reports indicate that the Central Bureau Of Investigation (CBI) has found no evidence that suggests the actor was murdered on June 14. Reports further went on to add that the federal agency is also looking into the case as a suicide and weighing in the ‘abetment to suicide’charges levied against Rhea Chakraborty and other close associates.

In the latest update, a report on India Today states that Sushant made his sister, Priyanka Singh a nominee for his investments. This development reportedly happened around May 20, just under a month before the actor was found dead in his apartment. The report further goes on to reveal a WhatsApp chat between SSR and a bank representative discussing details of the investment.

The new report comes in as a contradiction to claims that Rhea was “controlling” his finances and also dismisses allegations that the actor’s relationship with his sisters soured over time.

The high-profile death case is being investigated by three agencies. While the CBI is currently investigating the events that lead to the actor’s death, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is probing the money laundering angle based on Sushant’s father KK Singh‘s FIR alleged missing funds amounting to Rs 15 crore. The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) also stepped into the case after a drug angle emerged, suggesting that the actor was consuming drugs.
