Chennai: A personal college Mathematics trainer, Mathivannan who had shared porn movies within the college group on Friday night time, comprising Class 12 college students and lecturers was arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

Mathivannan was instructing Mathematics for over a decade in a personal college in Chennai and was dwelling together with his spouse and youngsters at Ambattur within the metropolis.

The trainer despatched the porn video through the night time to the group that was used for on-line instructing of scholars. Children and fellow lecturers who have been shocked on seeing the porn video popping up within the group, alerted the varsity authorities.

During an inside inquiry by the varsity officers, Mathivannan mentioned that he didn’t know concerning the video and that he had shared it inebriated.

School administration lodged a criticism with the All ladies police station, Chennai who arrested him below the POCSO Act and IT Act. The trainer was produced earlier than the Chief Judicial Justice of the Peace courtroom and was remanded in judicial custody.
