The BT Sport app launches on even more platforms ahead of the new season!

With the Premier League returning this weekend – as our coverage of Premiership Rugby, MotoGP, Boxing and UFC continues during a jam-packed September – we are delighted to launch the BT Sport app on Fire TV, Android TV, Roku streaming players and Roku TV models.

These brand new platforms will supplement our wide range of existing compatible devices and platforms, including Samsung smart TV, NOW TV, Sony PlayStation, Xbox, Google Chromecast and Apple TV, as well as mobiles, tablets, BT TV, Sky, TalkTalk and Virgin Media.

BT Sport customers who have the necessary BT subscription plus a 4K-capable Fire TV, a Roku streaming device, or one of the 4K devices running Android TV such as selected TV sets manufactured by brands including Sony, Panasonic, Philips and Hisense, will be also able to access BT Sport Ultimate.

BT Sport Ultimate is a channel that provides the very best live sport viewing experience the very best viewing experience available, whatever platform you are watching on.

Delivering pictures and sound in ultra-high 4k definition and high dynamic range at 50 frames-per-second, fast-moving action appears in pin-sharp detail, meaning sport is viewed in perfect clarity.

Existing BT Sport customers with access to the app for large screen devices can access BT Sport on the new devices and platforms at no extra cost, allowing them to watch live, catch-up and on-demand sport, and, have a second screen to watch two livestreams simultaneously*.

New customers can access the app in a range of ways including BT Sport Monthly Pass, which offers all sports fans a flexible way of watching top-flight sport for a simple monthly fee with no contract.

Available for just £25 per month for instant access, BT Sport Monthly Pass lets anyone buy and watch BT Sport on a month-by-month basis.

Over the next month, the pass will offer live matches from the Premier LeaguePremiership Rugby, European rugby’s Champions Cup, world title action from the UFC and first class boxing brought to you by Frank Warren’s Queensbury Promotions.
