The Goa tourism division on Friday inaugurated a three-day heritage pageant, which can showcase artwork types, dances and delicacies of the coastal state.

Union Minister Shripad Naik inaugurated the pageant within the presence of state Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte at Saligao village, round 9 km away from Panaji.

The Goa Heritage Festival really captures the essence of the wealthy cultural heritage, showcasing the colourful traditions and customs that make Goa so distinctive, Naik mentioned.

The pageant will culminate on April 30.

“The performances, art forms, and culinary delights on display here are a testament to the incredible talent and creativity of the local community,” the minister mentioned.

Speaking on the event, Khaunte mentioned the pageant not solely preserved the cultural heritage of the state, but in addition provided a platform for artists to showcase their abilities.
