Three fall sports optimistically began the season for Rhinelander High School last week. Tennis, cross country and girls swimming are underway. The School District of Rhinelander Board of Education will meet Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the Superior Diesel Advance Learning Center to discuss and possibly take action regarding WIAA fall athletics.

Girls tennis started the season with a new head coach, Matt Nichols. His assistant is Ben Nichols, Matt’s brother and a new math teacher at the high school.
