“The tiger has been kept under observation as there are some lacerations on his body. After clearance from the veterinarians, we will send the tiger to the Guwahati zoo,” he stated.

Mr Kumar stated tigers are sturdy swimmers and the rescued animal seemingly got here from the Orang National Park and Tiger Reserve, 75 miles away from the place it was rescued.
