TRIADELPHIA — Children from across the Ohio Valley and their households will quickly be capable of get an up-close expertise with massive vehicles that present a plethora of companies to the neighborhood.

Holy Family Childcare and Development Center and the City of Wheeling are inviting kids and their households to the annual Touch-A-Truck from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 5 at The Highlands Sports Complex parking zone.

Touch-A-Truck is an interactive occasion that enables kids to see, contact and safely discover their favourite automobiles and meet the personnel who shield, serve and construct our neighborhood. Past automobiles on show have included a police automobile, fireplace vehicles, ambulance, tractor-trailer and an excavator.

“Last year was a blast. We had visitors from all over our tri-state area and can’t wait for this year’s event,” stated Terra Crews, government director of Holy Family Childcare and Development Center.

“This is a fundraiser for our center and with the amazing support of our sponsors and partners; we are able to share this fun event with our community at no cost to the families.”

The middle is asking first responders, companies and organizations to affix them to show their work automobiles for youngsters to discover or share info with guests on the day of the occasion.
