MUMBAI: The husband of a tv actress has been booked for allegedly injuring their 15-month-old son by banging the kid in opposition to the ground of their bed room, Bangur Nagar police mentioned. The little one, who has been admitted to a non-public hospital in Malad West, is claimed to be secure.

According to the police, complainant Chandrika Saha, 41, who has acted in widespread serials equivalent to Adaalat, C.I.D. and Savdhaan India: Crime Alert, approached them with CCTV recordings after she discovered her son injured in the home.

Saha, a resident of Malad, informed the police that her husband, Aman Mishra, 21, was not proud of the beginning of their little one. After getting him admitted to a hospital, Saha checked the footage from CCTV digital camera within the little one’s bed room and located that Mishra had banged the child in opposition to the ground 3 times.

Saha informed the police that she was a divorcee when she met Mishra, a share dealer, in 2020. The two had an affair. When Saha came upon that she was pregnant, he had insisted that she get an abortion. However, a health care provider had suggested in opposition to it. The couple usually fought over the problem of her being pregnant. They obtained married final month when their son was 14 months outdated.



In her criticism to the police, Saha claimed that on Friday whereas she was within the kitchen, she heard her son crying. She then requested her husband to maintain the toddler and noticed him take the kid into the toddler’s bed room. She mentioned that after a couple of minutes, she heard her son cry once more after which heard a loud thud. She rushed inside and noticed her son mendacity injured on the ground.

The child was rushed to a close-by hospital. She mentioned that on Saturday, she checked the footage of the CCTV digital camera put in of their bed room and located that Mishra had banged her son in opposition to the ground 3 times. She then approached the police with the CCTV recordings of the assault and lodged a criticism.



“Based on the complaint filed by Saha we have booked Mishra under section 75 of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 for assaulting a child in one’s custody,” mentioned a police officer from Bangur Nagar police station. “We are investigating the case and examining the CCTV recordings,” added the officer.
