Nine’s Rugby: 2022 Wallabies v England coverage topped the total TV ratings for non-news programs, bringing in 703,000 viewers and rising 8%.

ABC claimed the #2 spot with The Good Karma Hospital, reaching a total TV audience of 678,000 and experiencing a lift of 26%

Mystery Road on ABC had the highest lift on overnight with 115%% to reach a total TV audience of 206,000.

Winning the Saturday network shares was Seven with 32.5%, followed by Nine with 27.3%. Seven took out the primary channel win with 20.6%, while 7mate claimed the multichannel win with a 5.4% share.

Helping Seven secure the Saturday win was Seven News clocking 673,000 views, and Seven’s: AFL Saturday Night Football, reaching an audience of 332,000. Airing in every major city besides Adelaide, the Saturday AFL saw The Western Bulldogs come from 27 points down to defeat Melbourne at Marvel Stadium – 17.8 (110) to 15.10 (100).

On Nine, Nine News clocked 613,000 views, while A Current Affair reached 415,000 people. Getaway had a viewership of 289,000 as Jason Dundas took a cruise along the Croatian coastline.

On ABC, the series seven premiere of British detective drama, Grantchester, was the most-watched entertainment program of the night. The series brought in an audience of 367,000, with 131,000 tuning in from Melbourne, while The Split clocked 240,000 views.

10 News First was the most viewed program on 10 with 247,000 views.

SBS aired an episode of The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys, which reached an audience of 147,000.

Fox League has claimed the top three spots on subscription TV. The match between Rabbitohs v Storm was the top program of the night, reaching 285,000 views as the Raiders beat the Warriors 26-14. 

Penrith took on the Sharks at BlueBet Stadium to come away with a 20-10 win, which brought in an audience of 278,000. Coming third on Foxtel was Super Saturday on Fox League, bringing in 235,000 views.

Fox Footy’s Super Saturday reached 163,000 people.
