The Connecticut Department of Public Health, in collaboration with the American Heart Association, has redesignated UConn Health as a ‘HEARTSafe Campus’ efficient August 29.

The DPH shared that this three-year redesignation acknowledges UConn Health’s dedication to advertise and supply improved cardiac response and care to the workers, college students and guests of its campus using the ‘Chain of Survival’ of early 9-1-1 entry, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, defibrillation and superior care.
