May 11 (Reuters) – British sportswear retailer JD Sports Fashion (JD.L) has appointed Dominic Platt as its chief monetary officer, changing Neil Greenhalgh who’s stepping down in the summertime after 4 years within the function, the corporate mentioned on Thursday.

Platt, 53, who’s presently CFO of BGL Group – a digital distributor of economic companies – takes over the function because the sportswear retailer pursues formidable growth plans below Chief Executive Officer Régis Schultz to turn out to be an athletic leisurewear “powerhouse”.

Earlier this week, JD Sports proposed to buy France’s Groupe Courir for an enterprise worth of 520 million euros ($572.42 million).
