A technologically nescient cell thief received so fed up making an attempt to function a Rs45,000 (Dh2,243 approx) stolen smartphone that he determined to return it to its proprietor. 
The incident happened in West Bengal, India, when  a person left his smartphone at a candy store from the place it was later stolen. The man lodged a police criticism after his cellphone was discovered to be switched off repeatedly.
Police stated that on investigating, it appeared that the smartphone was stolen by a 22-year-old man who was current on the candy store in East Burdwan, West Bengal. 
Meanwhile, a number of days later the person once more tried to make a name on his stolen cellphone and to his shock the thief answered the decision. According to studies in Hindustan Times, the thief instructed the person that he needed to return his cellphone as he was not in a position to function it.
“I was surprised when the man took the call and said he wanted to return my phone. I collected the cell phone the same day from his residence with police help. He even expressed remorse for his act,” the proprietor of the cellphone stated.
As the cell thief returned the cellphone to the complainant, he requested police to not arrest him.
