The occasion will begin on May 16 within the resort city on the French Riviera.

Anurag Kashyap’s crime drama “Kennedy” and FTII alumnus Yudhajit Basu’s “Nehemich” might be showcased within the official part of the movie competition. Manipuri Director Aribam Syam Sharma’s “Ishanou” might be showcased within the Cannes Classics part of the competition.
