Sitapur: A video of a saffron-clad seer delivering a hate speech in opposition to Muslims and inciting sexual violence in opposition to Muslim ladies, issuing rape threats, surfaced on social media on Thursday.
The two-minute video containing the hate speech is claimed to have been recorded on April 2 when the seer recognized as Bajrang Muni Das, the mahant of Maharshi Shri Lakshman Das Udasin Ashram in Khairabad city, was taking out a procession on the event of Navratri and Hindu New Year.
Bajrang Das Muni will be heard saying within the video that if any Hindu lady is teased by a person belonging to the Muslim group, then he’ll openly rape Muslim ladies.
“I am explaining this to you with a lot of love. If you tease (pursue) a Hindu girl then I will “If any Muslim guy pursues Hindu ladies, I will abduct and brazenly rape Muslim women in public,” threatens the seer, within the presence of police personnel.
The seer additionally made extra objectionable feedback on ladies and Muslims amidst individuals shouting slogans of “Jai Shree Ram
“.
The spiteful seer delivered his speech when the procession reached close to Sheshe wali Masjid, in Sitrapur’s Khairabad, as the group cheered him on with applause, shouting “Jai Shree Ram“.
A person in a police uniform will also be seen within the backdrop of the 41-second movie.
After a journalist revealed the footage on Twitter and tagged the Uttar Pradesh police, a probe was launched underneath Additional Superintendent of Police North Rajiv Dikshit.
Legal motion might be ensured as per guidelines on the premise of the information and proof that floor within the probe, police stated.
The seer went on to assert {that a} conspiracy to assassinate him had been deliberate and {that a} Rs 28 lakh bounty was positioned on his head.
