Akshay Kumar, who’s all set to make his Marathi movie debut with Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat, shared the primary look from the movie on Tuesday. The actor stars as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj within the interval drama that’s being directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. Sharing the primary look from the movie on social media, Akshay wrote: “Jai Bhawani, Jai Shivaji.” Earlier on Tuesday, the actor introduced his affiliation with the challenge by sharing a publish and he wrote in Hindi: “Today I am starting the shooting of Marathi film Vedat Marathe Veer Daudale Sat in which I am lucky to be able to play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj ji. I will do my best by taking inspiration from her life and blessing of Mother Jijau! Keep your blessings on us.”

Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat can be produced by Vaseem Qureshi. It is all set to launch in cinemas on Diwali 2023 in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
