Village Health Boards are being constituted within the 10 blocks of Krishnagiri district to observe the final mile well being supply, as promised by numerous well being schemes. This was reiterated on the District Health Board assembly convened on the Government Headquarters Medical College Hospital at Bolupalli right here on Wednesday.

The assembly, presided over by District Collector V. Jayachandra Bhanu Reddy, witnessed the participation of the State Planning Commission member Prof. Srinivasan and Additional Director/Project Director, Rural Development Agency, Vandana Garg, IAS.

The Village Health Boards are being constituted within the 10 blocks of Thally, Mathur, Kelamangalam, Kaveripattinam, Megalasillampalli, Bargur, Uthangarai, Vepanapalli, and Hosur to cowl 333 village panchayats to oversee the well being wants of over 20 lakh inhabitants.

Volunteers, and NGO representatives within the Village Health Boards will collate the necessities of the folks and transmit the data to the District-Level Health Board, which in flip will transmit the calls for to the State-Level Health Board for implementation.
