Arsenal chief govt Vinai Venkatesham is to depart his function in the summertime of 2024.

Venkatesham first joined the north London membership as head of worldwide partnerships in 2010 and has been within the chief govt function over the previous three seasons.

“This was a tough decision, but it is time to pursue another challenge,” he advised the Arsenal membership web site. “Now is not the time for goodbyes as I remain focused until my last day and supporting a seamless transition.”

Reacting to the information, Arsenal co-chair Josh Kroenke added: “The board is fully supportive of Vinai’s desire to pursue his next challenge.

“Whilst it’s enterprise as traditional with everybody centered on the season forward, we would wish to take this second to thank him for his contribution and lengthy service.

“Vinai will at all times be a part of the Arsenal household and at all times welcome again at Emirates Stadium.

“Change and succession is something the club is well prepared for. The board remains committed to our strategy and will address leadership change as we continue to drive the club forward.”

Arsenal’s first two Premier League video games after the September worldwide break can each be watched on Sky Sports.

The Gunners journey to Everton this weekend on Super Sunday, with kick-off at 4.30pm – earlier than the primary north London derby of the season.

Arsenal host rivals Tottenham on September 24, stay on Sky Sports with kick-off at 2pm. In between these two video games, Arsenal have their first Champions League recreation in six and a half years after they host PSV Eindhoven on the Emirates Stadium on September 20.
