The restrictions and lockdown have seen Virat Kohli being confined to his home since March. He was to lead Team India in the three ODIs against South Africa following the New Zealand tour but the fixtures were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A few cricketers resumed outdoor training after the government eased the restrictions. But Kohli hasn’t been able to hit the field. He lives in Maharashtra, the worst-hit state in the country.

The Indian skipper is keeping himself fit by attending gym sessions at his home. The 31-year-old is a fitness freak and pays extra attention to his fitness. Ahead of IPL 2020, Kohli has been training hard and recently shared yet another post after completing his fitness session.

Kohli’s new look hogged much limelight as he has grown a white beard. He did grow a heavy beard during the lockdown but its colour has turned white now. The Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper is expected to change his look before landing in Bengaluru. Check out his pic –

As of now, there is no official word regarding RCB’s departure for UAE. Though it is confirmed that they can only leave the country after August 20.

The RCB’s players have started landing in the city. On Friday, pacers Umesh Yadav and Navdeep Saini reached Bengaluru. Kohli is expected to join his teammates next week.

All the players will undergo COVID-19 tests before leaving the country. They will be tested for COVID-19 after landing in UAE as well. As per the rules, all the players, coaches and officials will remain in seven-day isolation upon landing in UAE. They will be allowed to take part in training sessions after one week.

For now, only Chennai Super Kings have confirmed that they will ferry their players to UAE on August 21. The franchise is also organising a one-week camp for its players. The camp will take place from August 15 to 21.
