With two weeks left in the regular season, prep sports reporter Jack Williams jumps on Tiermaker to rank where every Big Bend football team stands near the postseason. From those who are pretty much secure in the playoffs to those who need a lot of help, Williams gives his take on where everyone’s odds lie.
How the list works are every team below the list will be put into one of five categories: Safe, one more win for safety, on the bubble, need help and need a lot of help. That ranking best describes what Williams believes that team’s playoff situation is heading into the final two weeks
The list works off of the most recent FHSAA football RPI scores, which were released prior to Week 9s games on Oct. 20. Williams has added Week 9 results and RPI predictions to his overall rankings. All teams listed prior to their ranking are randomized and not in any particular order. Every team is included in the list except for Taylor County, who has opted to play an independent schedule this season.
