Congress national general secretary, Priyanka Gandhi after reaching Lavkush Nagar slums in Lucknow, swept the floor with a broom. By this action, she gave a befitting reply to the reported remark made by UP CM Yogi Adityanath in a TV channel interview where he had mockingly said that the public will eventually turn her into someone who can broom the floor. Earlier she had swept the Sitapur guest house during her detention. She was driving a point across that those who sweep are also worthy of self-respect and dignity.
