PORTLAND, Ore. — The Western Oregon University athletic division took fifth place within the GNAC Academic All-Sports Awards introduced Friday by the convention.

The Wolves completed with 116 factors – ending behind Central Washington (129), Seattle Pacific (127), Saint Martin’s (123) and Northwest Nazarene (121).

WOU tied for second within the males’s division with 53 factors, ending solely behind Central Washington (58). The WOU males had been led by the baseball group which took first in its sports activities with a 3.36 group GPA. Also ending within the high three within the males’s division was the first-year males’s soccer program ending tied for second (3.40 GPA) and the cross nation group taking third (3.30 GPA).

On the WOU girls’s facet, the WOU soccer group took second with a 3.59 GPA.
