A 25-year-old girl from West Bengal was attacked by her buddy allegedly utilizing a sharp-edged weapon right here on Saturday, police stated.

Sandhya, who hails from the japanese state and works at an institution right here, was attacked by a person who was earlier in a relationship together with her, police stated.

”She was attacked at Azad Road. She was strolling together with one other buddy when the accused reached there and began an argument. Later, he attacked her with a sharp-edged weapon,” police advised PTI.

Police stated the person, who can be from West Bengal, escaped after inflicting a deep-cut wound on the lady’s hand.

An investigation is underway and a search is on to catch maintain of the accused, who escaped on a motorcycle after the incident.
