Since Aryan Khan’s bail order has been reserved for October 20, the star son will continue to stay at Arthur Road prison for the coming days. No home food has been reportedly allowed for him yet and Shah Rukh Khan has also sent Rs 4,500 through money order to the prison for his son’s canteen expenses. So apart from regular jail food Aryan can buy stuff from Arthur Road prison’s canteen. According to a news portal, the menu at the prison canteen includes Bread, Farsan / Namkeen, Bhel, Panyachi Batli, Vadapav, Bhajiapav, Samosa, Chicken Thali, Egg Thali, Mineral Water and Juice.

Jail superintendent Nitin Waychal had confirmed to ANI that a money order of Rs 4,500 was received by the jail authorities from Aryan Khan’s family on October 11. According to the prison rules, a prisoner can receive a money order of Rs 4500 maximum for their expenses inside the jail.

On Thursday, Aryan Khan got an opportunity to speak to Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan for the first time in 12 days. He was allowed a video call with his parents, a facility that was introduced by jail authorities during the pandemic last year for inmates to communicate with their families and lawyers. “Aryan gave his mother’s number. He spoke to his mother and father through the video call facility for 10 minutes,” a senior jail official confirmed to TOI. According to norms, undertrials can talk to their family/lawyers twice or thrice a month in the presence of jail police constables.

As part of the probe, the NCB is seeking MEA’s help to investigate Aryan Khan’s alleged foreign contact. The Narcotics Control Bureau special counsel, ASG Anil Singh Singh, who concluded his submissions on Thursday, said Aryan Khan’s bail plea was misconceived at this stage as investigations are still on and the agency is seeking help of the Ministry of External Affairs to probe Khan’s alleged foreign contact and chats to probe an alleged international connection.
