Indore: Christmas Sports Dhamaka organised by Catholic Society

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In order to have fun the sports activities spirit of the youth, a three-day Christmas Sports Dhamaka is being organised beneath the auspices of the Youth and Vocation Commission of the Indore Diocese. The sports activities day began from December 28 and can conclude on December 30 at St Paul’s Higher Secondary School. The three-day Christmas Sports Dhamaka was inaugurated by Bishop Chacko of the Indore Diocese. On the primary day of the programme, Jalebi Race, Drop in Ball, Hurdle Race, Relay Race, and Bomb within the City competitions have been organised for the scholars of Classes I to IV during which all of the little girls and boys participated enthusiastically.

The first, second, and third-place college students in every class have been awarded lotuses by Sister Reji, Sister Sushila and Sister Shashi.

On the second day, turf soccer for ladies and leg-cricket competitors for boys was organised the place 17 groups of “Balak Yeshu Sangh” participated enthusiastically. In the women’ turf soccer competitors, Nandbagh Chhota Bangada gained the trophy by defeating Vijayanagar by a single purpose. In the boys’ legcricket competitors, Pithampur captured the trophy by defeating Vijayanagar by seven wickets within the last match.

The prizes got to the winners by Father Jacob of Sukhliya’s Karakamals.
