A two-and-a-half-year-old lady was raped by a 30-year-old man identified to the minor’s household in a village in Rajasthan‘s Baran district, police mentioned on Friday.

The accused Sonu Banjara (30), who was absconding for the reason that alleged incident on Thursday night, was detained on Friday morning, a senior police officer mentioned.

According to police, the lady was taking part in exterior her home when Banjara, who lived close by, took her to his home. He raped her there after which fled the spot.
